Return Policy

Making it easier for you

1) What we sell (no physical returns)

Teamland provides scheduled services (team building events and training workshops) delivered on a specific date/time. Because these are services, we do not accept “returns.”

2) No-returns rule (services)

All Teamland services are non-returnable. Refunds are only available in the limited situations described in this policy or as explicitly stated on your invoice/SOW.

3) Booking confirmation + payment terms

  • An event/workshop is confirmed booked upon payment.
  • Standard: payment is due in full upfront unless your invoice states otherwise.
  • Events over $10,000: we may allow a 50% deposit upon booking, with remaining balance due per invoice terms.
  • Important: Whether or not payment has been made, if the customer cancels within 4 weeks of the original event date, a 100% cancellation fee applies (see Section 5). If fees exceed amounts paid, the remaining balance remains payable.

4) Late booking fees (based on how close you book to the event date)

Subject to availability:

  • Events booked within 2 weeks of the event date: 20% late booking fee
  • Events booked within 1 week of the event date: 40% late booking fee

Late booking fees apply to the event total unless your invoice states otherwise.

5) Cancellations (fees based on timing)

Cancellation fees are calculated as a percentage of the total event/workshop fees (and may also include non-recoverable third-party costs already incurred).

  • Cancellation more than 8 weeks before the event date: 30% cancellation fee
  • Cancellation between 4 and 8 weeks before the event date: 50% cancellation fee
  • Cancellation within 4 weeks of the event date: 100% cancellation fee

Shipping and third-party costs already incurred (e.g., shipments/materials) are non-refundable.

6) Rescheduling

Rescheduling requests are handled case-by-case, subject to availability, and may involve additional fees or cost differences. The specific rescheduling terms (if any) will be based on your invoice/SOW.

7) If Teamland cancels

If Teamland cancels due to circumstances beyond our control, Teamland will:

  • Refund any payments made in advance, minus shipments/third-party costs already incurred, or
  • Work with you to find a suitable date to reschedule, or
  • Offer a substitute event where appropriate.

8) Training “Re-Teach” commitment (not a refund)

For training workshops: if your team feels they didn’t learn anything new, Teamland may provide one additional re-teach session:

  • Scheduled by mutual availability, up to 6 months after the original session
  • Delivery format (virtual or in-person) depends on availability and logistics
  • Any travel, venue, or third-party costs may be billed separately unless otherwise agreed on the invoice

This is a service remedy (re-teach), not a “return.”

9) Invoice terms control

If your invoice/SOW includes terms that differ from this policy, the invoice/SOW terms govern for that specific engagement.
