The extension retains zero user content on any server. This is stricter than the parent policy's 60-day retention window, which applies to other Teamland products and services, not this extension.
What stays on your device only (never uploaded):
- Prompts you create or save (chrome.storage.local)
- Extension settings (chrome.storage.local)
- JWT authentication token (chrome.storage.local)
What our backend (extension.teamland.com) stores:
- License key + last-seen timestamp — retained for the duration of your active subscription as a contractual necessity, then deleted
| Data | Location |
|---|---|
| Saved prompts | Your device (chrome.storage.local) |
| Extension settings | Your device (chrome.storage.local) |
| JWT authentication token | Your device (chrome.storage.local) |
| License key + last-seen timestamp | extension.teamland.com |
License Key Activation
When you enter a license key, it is sent to extension.teamland.com to verify your subscription and retrieve your team's prompt library. On success, the server returns a short-lived JWT stored in chrome.storage.local, used only for subsequent library-sync requests to the same endpoint.
ChatGPT Page Access
The extension reads the ChatGPT page DOM solely to detect slash-command input and inject the prompt palette UI. No conversation content is captured, recorded, or transmitted.
What We Do Not Collect
- Conversation content or browsing history
- Names, email addresses, or IP addresses
- Analytics, telemetry, or crash data
- Advertising data of any kind
There are no analytics SDKs, crash reporters, or ad network integrations in the extension code.
Uninstall and Revocation
Uninstalling the extension removes all chrome.storage.local data automatically — prompts, settings, and JWT are gone immediately.
To revoke your license key and remove it from the backend, email team (at) teamland.com. Deletion confirmed within 7 days.
